However, there is a scheme in place for online lottery players and also for OLG’s land-based outlets, which is known as ‘The Winning Edge’, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility that this feature will be extended to its other online options in the future.
Software
The OLG Ontario online casino has opted to work with just two games developers: IGT Casino Software and SG Digital. Although this does mean the site might be lacking some of players’ favorite slot titles, we found that all games load very quickly and offer glitch-free gameplay.
The game search facility is exceptionally good and enables players to track down their desired game by genre, features or game developer. Each of those options has multiple filters to give further definition.
Game portfolio
There are around 150 different slot titles on offer, which may seem low compared to other operators on our Ontario online casino list, but where the OLG Ontario online casino really scores is with the Jackpot slots, where it is possible play for prizes up to $1 million.

Live dealer games are a very recent (and welcome) addition to the OLG casino portfolio. There are all of the classic table games including blackjack, roulette, baccarat and keno, with a number of variations in games and minimum stakes.
Limits
Our review explored a good percentage of the slots and other games available on the site and we found that the OLG Ontario online casino has covered all bases and budgets. Here, some games can be played with just $0.10, or live dealer games can be accessed with a £10 minimum bet, the choice is entirely open to the player.
Product summary
Whilst this is not the biggest online casino we have explored, we certainly found that the overall playing experience was excellent, with fast-loading games and smooth gameplay across the board. The OLG Ontario online casino is certainly worth a look.
Betting markets
There are fewer sports available at the OLG Ontario sportsbook than are found on some of the best betting sites in Ontario that we have reviewed, but we really liked the emphasis on Ontarian teams.
There are also plenty of betting markets on offer for local, Canadian national and major US sports, with some unique and entertaining variations.
Odds
Whilst completing a random check of the odds available at the OLG Ontario sportsbook, we did find some considerable variation. For Ontario teams, the odds available were (on average) better than those provided by rival sportsbooks.
For some popular sports they were competitive, but we did ascertain that for non-Canadian sports they did come a little below par on occasion.
Limits
All sports have a minimum stake requirement of $0.10, but the OLG Ontario sportsbook leaves bettors to set their own maximum limit if they so wish.

Overall conclusion – OLG is a secure all-rounder
This is by no means the biggest operation we have reviewed, but it does have some outstanding qualities. For example, by comparison to the Rivalry Ontario online casino, there are fewer games, but the quality of gameplay at OLG is beyond great.
There are also fewer sports than are usually found on mainstream sportsbooks, but we really liked the emphasis on Ontario sports, which more than makes up for that. Lastly, you are guaranteed a 100% safe site to enjoy your gambling.
